This new video answers the question: "Is the Internet an overvalued fad, or is it a whole new business paradigm?" The resounding answer presented from economists, business reporters, and cybermillionaires, is that this "Information Technology Revolution" is the SECOND Industrial Revolution. Money is flooding out of Wall Street, and this phenomenon is affecting the way we do business daily. The featured financial experts, including Deutschebank's Ed Yardeni and the BBC's Richard Quest, predict the Internet wealth creation trend will continue and deepen wealth across the board worldwide.

Technical aspects of the tape are well-executed, though putting names on people interviewed would have reinforced who they are and their expertise. At only 23 minutes, the video is a quick overview of this topic and leaves the viewer wanting to know more. Some of the quoted statistics, i.e. 8-1/2 million people around the U.S. are playing the market on the Internet every day, the globe.com was valued at $30 million at the end of nine months in business but it had not turned a profit yet, are truly amazing. The sound bite at the beginning, "the Internet is changing everything it touches," as well as the day-trader stories also illustrate the importance of the new Internet/Wall Street/business universe synergy.

Videos on the business world and the Internet are proliferating. Produced in a traditional documentary format with interview segments, this program would appeal to older adults in a public library or community college collection to help explain the vast influence of the Internet. Recommended.
