This video completes the description of the five kingdoms of lifeforms on earth now recognized by taxonomists: Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae and Animalia. It is intended to be used in tandem with the other video belonging to this series.

Although in numbers of organisms and species Plantae and Animalia are dwarfed by Monera, Protista and Fungi, these are the two kingdoms most familiar to us humans. Like its partner, this video consists of colorful and interesting cameos of various representatives of these two kingdoms interspersed with interviews with several scientists explaining the function of the classification of living organisms--taxonomy--to the scientific endeavor.

This video is suitable for a basic undergraduate nonbook collection in the life sciences. Recommended
